World Cancer Day is a global observance that helps raise people’s awareness of cancer and how to prevent, detect or treat it. This event is held on February 4 each year.
I received an email a few days ago from an advocate from the St. Baldrick's foundation. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to funding the most promising children’s cancer research** to find cures and give survivors long and healthy lives, is working to educate the public on the harsh realities a child faces when they are diagnosed with cancer and how research can make a difference in their treatment and life ahead.
They shared with me a really touching video that I hope you will take a moment to watch on this day, World Cancer Day. Please pray for anyone you know who has cancer and pray also that God will put on your heart any way that you can help families in such a trying time of life!
**St. Baldrick's does not fund embryonic stem cell research but instead funds other promising research avenues such as cord blood and matched donors.

Loved this video! Tears in my eyes.
