Want to find more time to do the things you love? Tell Your Time by Amy Lynn Andrews (of Blogging With Amy) is a time management eBook that will help you do just that. In just 30 pages, Amy helps you identify where you want to be in life and how to manage your time so that you can get there.
Effective time management isn't the key to a completed to-do list, it's the key to an accomplished life. (p. 8)One of the things I enjoy about Tell Your Time is that it is streamlined and to the point, making it easy to read within a short amount of time. It's also laid out very nicely so that it's easy to go back and reread sections over again as I'm planning my schedule, without hunting through large paragraphs of text.
Amy teaches you how to use the envelope system to direct your time so that you can accomplish the things that are most important without compromising two things that are important (to me at least!): down time and sleep! Her ideas for a schedule are not rigid, instead she encourages "freedom within boundaries" and teaches you step-by-step how to direct your time for a greater purpose.
Reading Tell Your Time honestly made me think differently about the way I use my time. It helped me understand some of the internal issues behind why I do what I do and how I can make time work for me instead of just being dragged along by the day to day.
