Awhile back I stocked up on some super-cheap baby wipes, giving me a stash of wipes containers just waiting to be re-purposed! Here are some ways we’ve recycled and reused baby wipe containers to keep them out of the landfill.
Plastic Bag Holder
I hate to say it but I’ve definitely accumulated my share of plastic grocery bags. I strive to use reusable bags whenever possible but somehow that sneaky plastic finds its way into my house. Up until a few days ago, the extras were spilling over top of a paper bag. After recycling a large part of them, I kept some on hand for my Diaper Champ.
Will got a bunch of Lego sets for Christmas, so we put some of the sets inside along with the instructions to keep them organized (a.k.a. to keep them away from three-year old Leah).
Storage for Crayons, Markers, etc
A perfect spot to corral all the markers, crayons and colored pencils when their boxes fail to hold together!
Organizing Charging Cords for Electronics
My charging cords and chargers for my camera, computer, iPod and phone fit nicely inside a baby wipes container.
Storage for Baby Food Containers
I want to reuse our baby food containers for crafts or otherwise, so I’ve kept them tucked inside a wipes container for now.
How do you reuse your baby wipe containers? I’d love more ideas!
