Did you know that the price of peanut butter is set to rise by as much as 40% at the end of the month due to a peanut shortage? We use peanut butter all the time, whether in PB & J sandwiches, peanut butter cookies or on celery for “ants on a log”. With the price of food rising day by day (or so it seems), I’m going to stock up while there’s still time.
Right now, you can get several varieties of Skippy Peanut Butter (my favorite kind!) on Amazon for as little as $1.84 a jar? These are the 15 oz jars that come in packs of 6, Skippy Natural is included.
To get the lowest price, you will need to sign up for Subscribe and Save but after you’ve received your order you can cancel your subscription.
If you’re not fussy about the brand of peanut butter you use, Planters is price marked at most Targets for $1.99 for a 15 oz jar. You should be able to print two 75 cent coupons from the Target website to get it for $1.24 (just push the refresh button on your browser after the first coupon has printed).
Please note that with Amazon prices can change at any time so be sure to check before you buy.
